Project Prometheus C.I.C. is a non-profit social enterprise addressing gambling addiction through financial safeguarding, lived-experience support and structured crisis prevention. Our flagship programme, Guardian Check, protects households by restricting access to funds during relapse periods, supporting debt stabilisation, coordinating with family guardians and activating a defined escalation pathway when risks arise.

Unlike traditional treatment services, we focus on prevention rather than motivational therapy alone, recognising that gambling harm is fundamentally financial and relational. Our model reduces relapse impact, protects dependants, prevents household destabilisation and increases recovery continuity.
